a. Apple cider vinegar: Add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a quart of water. Apply it to areas prone to this infection. Your can add some garlic too to stop the itching.

 

b. Garlic: Carefully peel one clove of garlic and wrap it in gauze. Now, insert this into the vagina and leave it in for up to twelve hours. Repeat if necessary. Even eating raw garlic helps, but is certain to turn others away because of your bad breath!

 

c. Yogurt: Yogurt is regarded as one of the best home remedies. Take plain yogurt with no fruit, flavor or added sugar. Soak a tampon in it and place it on the infected region for at least an hour. Not only will it soothe, it'll also replace the 'bad' yeast bacteria with 'good' curd bacteria.

 

e. Tea tree oil: Use suppositories made with tea tree oil and acidophilus. Use them alternatively every night to get rid of yeast infection. Using only tea tree oil ones is as effective.

 

f. Gentain violet: 'Paint' the vagina and vulva, the outside area of the vagina, including the labia or the 'lips' of the vagina, with gentian violet. If stains bother you, wear a pad. Just one treatment is enough to cure yeast infection.

 

h. Potassium sorbate: This is used in home beer-making. Mix half an ounce of potassium sorbate in one pint of water and soak it in a tampon. Now insert this into the vagina at night and remove in the morning. You'll find the yeast infection gone.

 

i. Acidophilus: Simply drink or eat acidophilus to keep yeast infection at bay. It's available in powder or capsule form in health food stores.

 

d. Buttermilk: Drink at least two glasses of buttermilk daily, whether you've the infection or not. This will drastically reduce the chances of infection.

 

g. Juices: Drink a mixture of olive leaf extract with grapefruit seed extraction in a glass of water. This is a good curative tonic for this infection. Even unsweetened cranberry juice is quite effective.

There are home remedies to cure yeast infection in both men and women. These natural remedies are harmless and can be tried by anyone. And male yeast infection home remedy is no different from those for women. However, if you suspect an infection, do get yourself medically examined to confirm what you've got is yeast infection and not something else.
